Welcome to Congregation Shaaray Tefila of Lawrence.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rabbi Dovid Weinberger and I have been the Rav of the Shul since 1996. During the past decade, the Shul has seen tremendous growth in the area of Limud HaTorah with the myriad of Shiurim and guest Roshei HaYeshiva and Rabbonim who frequent our Bais Hakeneses.

The Shul features a daily Daf and Mishna Yomi and a morning Kollel in addition to many weekly and daily Shiurim. We have been involved in numerous chesed projects, both locally and in Eretz Yisroel. Our mispallelim have always responded generously when called upon to assist individuals in need or the tzibur at large. It has been said by many that our Shul is one of the quietest and dignified in the area of kavod hatefilah. I am proud that our baal habatim take davening seriously and give tremendous respect to our Mikdash Me'at. It is interesting to note that the make up of the congregants is quite heterogeneous, yet there is a very warm feeling of kovod and admiration one for the other. The Shul exudes much warmth and friendship and is a beautiful makom Torah for a family to be a part of. Additionally, we have an active youth department and sisterhood with a full range of programs and activities for all ages.
